The aim of this site is to allow me to gain other peoples opinions and recommendations regarding my car.

I am 19 years old and I live in Northampton, England. I am currently learning to drive, and for my 1st car I have decided to buy a mini one.

I had a couple of driving lessons when I was 17 (well 14 lessons to be precise!), and now I have a new job, I can afford to continue where I left off. I am planning to book my driving test around the time I order my car (I figure that I will pass around the time I take delivery).

Here is where it gets interesting - obviously I have been seriously considering which car to buy, and which options to order as well. Below is a list of what I am looking to order at the moment - this will change often as I want my car to be perfect and i can never make my mind up!

Ok, so that is what I am planning to order from the dealer, you may have noticed that there are no alloy wheels specified or even a CD player. The reason for these items to be missing from this list is that I plan to purchase them separately.

18" Alloy wheels (Not decided on a design yet - click here to view a set i am considering)

ICE - including a decent single CD head unit (probably Kenwood), 12" sub and amp from (infinity maybe).

All of the above aftermarket items are not urgent (mainly because i wont be able to afford them right away!) except the wheels as i dont like the standard steel Mini rims. These modifications will get done when I can afford them/have time to get them done.
